The induction roof fastening system is an innovative way of installing roofing materials that uses the magnetic properties of metals to secure roof components. The technology delivers fast, reliable and durable fastening, minimises damage to the material and improves the overall appearance of the building.
Installation is considerably faster because no holes have to be drilled through the material. This shortens the schedule and reduces installation costs.
Induction fasteners provide a high-strength joint that resists wind, snow and rain. The material stays intact, which extends the life of the whole assembly.
With no visible fasteners the surface stays smooth, which improves the look of the roof — important for contemporary architecture where appearance matters.
Induction systems use a minimum of materials, reducing the environmental load. They also allow the roof to be dismantled easily for repair or replacement of individual components, in line with resource-efficient construction.
The induction system can be used on various roof types, including metal tile, profiled sheeting and composite panels. It suits both new buildings and the refurbishment of existing structures.
Induction roof fastening is a forward-looking solution for modern construction. Its benefits make it an attractive alternative to traditional installation methods, combining reliability, speed and environmental performance. The technology raises the quality of the work and extends the life of the roof covering.
The DAARTS induction system kit includes:
The inductor works on the principle of electromagnetic induction: it generates an alternating magnetic field that heats the metal plate underneath the roofing membrane. This localised heating creates a strong bond between the TPO membrane and the plate — with no mechanical penetrations and no adhesives.
Main stages of the process:
— Field generation: the inductor (coil) is connected to a high-frequency current source and creates an alternating magnetic field.
— Induction heating: the field induces eddy currents in the metal plate located under the membrane.
— Local melting: the plate heats up and the membrane softens at the fastening point and fuses with the plate.
— Bond formation: once cooled, the fastening point is strong and watertight.
— Benefits of the method:
No mechanical penetrations → the waterproofing stays intact.
Fast installation → shorter working time.
Durable bond → loads are distributed evenly.
Clean appearance → no visible fasteners.
Made of high-strength, flexible polymer plastic that withstands temperature swings. The DAARTS GZR sleeve is compatible with the DAARTS steel rail, the DAARTS D 40 roofing washer, DAARTS 4.8 and 6.3 screws and the induction fastening system. It fixes and holds thermal insulation (mineral wool, extruded polystyrene, PIR boards).
The DAARTS roofing sleeve has a specially shaped tip that passes easily through roll roofing materials during installation.
A high strength reserve and a long service life. The telescopic design withstands increased loads.

The 102 mm induction cardboard disc is used together with the DAARTS GZR80-7.5 induction plate when TPO roofing membranes are installed over polystyrene or XPS substrates. The disc is placed between the induction plate and the TPO membrane and protects the insulation from melting during induction welding.
The 102 mm disc is compatible with DAARTS GZR80 induction plates for both PVC and TPO. A pre-punched central hole makes it easier to use.
The micro-perforated centre allows installation with the DAARTS GZR 20 sleeve.
Quick and simple to fit.
